Hello my Beauties,
today i’m having another guest post for the Hans Christian Andersen Tales Event.
This time it’s Eeeek! Nail Polish with her idea of The Brave Tin Soldier Design.
Let’s find out how it’s done:
I’m Jemma from Eeeek! Nail Polish and I’m thrilled to be guesting on Luchessa’s lovely blog! I was lucky enough to participate in Luchessa’s Grimm Fairy Tales series last Autumn so I’m really happy to be joining in again this year! This year’s storyteller is Hans Christian Andersen so I opted for the tale of The Brave Tin Soldier
So without further ado…
Each nail represents a certain part of the two main characters; the Brave Tin Soldier and the paper ballerina. I’ve created the tin Soldier’s uniform on my index finger and the heart on my middle finger represents his own, tiny tin heart which the maid finds in the embers . The ballerina in the tale wears a white dress with a blue sash across her shoulders and has a tinder rose. See below for a step by step guide on how I created this mani!
So there we go! I hope you enjoyed my guest post and thanks again to Luchessa for having me!
Take Care! Eeeek Nail Polish x
What do you think my Beauties? Isn’t that a really adorable nail design? I bet many of you will be able to recreate it with all of Jemma’s great explanations.
And because it so happenes, that it’s also her birthday today, i’d like to give Jemma an especially warm shout out and wish her an incredibly happy and successful new year of life, full of blogging motivation & cake! Well, because who doesn’t love cake?!
I picked three of my personal Jemma favorites, which i’d like to share with you today as well. Take a look!
1) Essie Miss Fancy Pants & studs design (because i love studs and little spikes on the nails).
2) O.P.I ‘I Just Can’t Cope-acabana’ & feathers design (because of the unusual look).
3) Rimmel Pro ‘Aqua Cool’ & snowflakes design (because winter is around the corner).
Please wish Eeeek Nail Polish a very Happy Birthday, favorite her blog and leave a comment, if you like what you see – it’s definitely going to create a smile on her face!
See you next week for more creative nail art tutorials.
