Christmas Haul Challenge

Hello my Beauties,

with one of the most magical nights of the year approaching, i thought it would be fun to participate in a Christmas related challenge. It’s basically a mini haul, consisting of 7 Christmas related items. And who doesn’t love haul challenges?!

Christmas Haul Challenge

Here are the 7 tasks:

1) Smells like Christmas to me:
Smell of ChristmasFirst of all, nothing screams more Christmas to me, than the Sweet Gingerbread Shower Creme. But there are several other bath products by Beauticology that i really enjoy using during the winter time. And of course there’s the famous ‘Tis The Season by Bath and Body Works candle, which is being described as Rich, red apples, green pine and a touch of golden cider combine to capture all the joy and activities of the holidays. I mean – what else can one expect from a Christmas candle, right? I’ve got still half of it from last year & can’t wait to start burning it again, ones my tree is up. (Yes, i’m as bad as that…)

2) A gift for my mom (grandma, sister)
clarisonic miaThis year i’m getting the blue Clarisonic Mia 2 for my mom, which has been since april 2014 on the german market. She really wanted something handy for her weekly skin routine. So instead of getting a knock off, i’ve decided to go for the original product. Sure, it’s an investment, but it looks like you can get a lot of usage from it. (Fingers crossed my mom doesn’t read this post!)

3) Can’t do a movie night without it:

Nice cup of tea mugI’m going to be really boring now, and say – tea! If you don’t know me well, you might wonder – why does she need tea on a movie night?! Well, let me tell you, i’m always drinking it, especially if i’m cuddled up under a cozy blanket & watching a movie. I love different kind of green and jasmine teas, so i always have a lot of it to choose from. Do you have a favorite tea flavor?

4) A winter must-have in my bag:

citrus ginger hand & nail cream london apothecaryIt obviously has to be a good hand moisturizer. Especially at work, where i constantly have to wash my hands, they tend to get really dry and i’m always in need for a rich hand cream. Currently it’s the Citrus Ginger hand & nail cream, that again smells very much christmassy in my opinion. And because it contains 20% shea butter, it has a really thick consistency, which i like during winter quite a lot.

5) Skin care during the cold temperatures:

Natura Siberica Rhodiola Rosea Night Cream

First thing i do, when i get home after a long day – i take off my makeup, wash my face & get some Natura Siberica Rhodiola Rosea Night Cream on, which helps my face to calm down, after a wet and windy weather. Not that long ago i did a full review on this night cream, so in case you’re curious why it’s a great skin care product, have a look HERE

6) Treating myself to for Christmas with:

Something very basic – a tripod for my smart phone. As a blogger, do i really have to explain?! I need this stuff!

7) Can’t go without for my Christmas makeup look:

hugs-kisses lashesThe one time of the year i probably wear false eyelashes, is over the Christmas holidays. I rarely go for bright lips, since i prefer to wear a more dramatic eye look. And you simply can’t do both at the same time, or you end up looking like a doll.
And let’s be honest, there’s no dramatic look, without some fancy lashes, right? The ones i’ll be using this year are the ones from Hugs & Kisses limited edition by Essence.
(I’m planning on doing a dark blue smokey eye look, to match the dress i picked.)

If you had fun reading this, you’re more than welcome to do the challenge as well. What would you pick for these 7 tasks?

And because i’m really curious, i’m going to tag Nia from Style of Colours, Angie from My So-Called Chaos and Nina from Nina Westbury.
