Duochrome “Faerie Fire” by BrijitsDigits

Hello my Beauties,

today i would love to share my review on a red holiday polish with you. Not only because it fits the season so well, but because i was really looking forward to find the perfect every day deep red and i think i’ve finally found it.

I’m talking about the Duochrome Red Nail Polish – “Faerie Fire” from the Etsy store BrijitsDigits.
BrijitsDigits Faerie Fire
As you might have noticed, i’m not the classic tomato red type of girl, so when this dark red shade was in my mail i got really excited.

But first things first.
Faerie Fire is a hand blended indie nail polish made by Brijit from brijitsdigits.net
The color has many different facets from what i’ve noticed. You get everything from light to deep cherry red to even flashes of black when the light of the camera hits it. I can sure say, i did not expect that.

It comes in a 11ml bottle with 2 mixing beads and a good middle size brush, which makes it quite easy to use.
The materials are: quality mica, three free suspension base, duochrome pigment, super micro flakies.

You need 2 coats to get an opaque color on your nails and even though i wasn’t using any top coat for testing purposes, the polish stayed on for 5 days without chipping straight.

BrijitsDigits Faerie Fire 3It dried in just a few minutes, which was such a pleasant surprise (you know how much i hate those polishes that seem to never dry completely), that i even tweeted to Brijit about it:

tweetRight now i’m wearing Faerie Fire for the second week in the row, which is a pretty sure sign that i really liked it.

BrijitsDigits Faerie Fire 4From the last picture you can def tell, there is still room for a third coat of polish, but it’s just visible from a certain angle. On the nails it looks quite dark & opaque already.

My conclusion is: If you’re a lover of cherry red polishes with a nice hint of shimmer, you’re going to enjoy this one. I was amazed by the drying speed and the staying power.
If other colors by BrijitsDigits are from the same quality, you don’t even need to hesitate trying them.

Btw: If you like your own customized nail polish, just get in touch with Brijit and i’m sure she can come up with something unique for you.

Have you tried any of BrijitsDigits nail polishes yet? And if not, what’s your favorite one from her Etsy store?

Ps: Faerie Fire was a PR sample provided by BrijitsDigits - The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.

You def had the right feeling :) I think it’s quite interesting how much a polish preference can tell about a woman – don’t you find?

Very nice! I have four of her polishes and i agree about the long wear-time without chipping!
My favorite is her thermal polish that changes colors! Love ittttt!

This is a gorgeous color! I hate nail polishes that take forever to dry too. I end up messing up my nail every time…Great post! xo’s

Thanks for stopping by Laura. :) I find it so annoying sometimes when even after several hours after painting my nails, i keep getting dints, because the polishe hasn’t been dry yet.
Not going to happen with that one!!
I’m sure going to try more of Brijit’s creations.
