{Favorite Blushes Around the Globe}

Hello my Beauties,

if you’re a blush fan like me, this is the absolutely right post for you. Several times a year i’m looking for a new blush, that might have the potential to become my new best friend. I’ve tested many really great products last year, and some of them i’ve talked about on my blog, but what i’ve noticed neither the less, i tend to always go back to my all time favorite one.

Today i’m not only going to tell you all about my personal favorite blush, but i also asked bloggers from around the globe about their go-to cheek products and that’s what i’m sharing with you as well, because it might help you find your holy grail.

Favorite Blushes Around the Globe bannerLet’s get into it.

Hot Mama by The Balm has been my true companion over the past 2,5 years. I’ve discovered it back in 2012, when i went to NYC and visited Sephora for the first time in my life. It was around the time i’ve started blogging, so i did a mini Sephora haul.
The Balm Hot Mama Blush

Before 2012 i had the impression, i looked best while wearing a pinky blush – but Hot Mama completely changed my view. I’ve noticed how much fresher and more awake my face would look with a peachy type of blush. It seems to suit my fair skin tone quite well and the subtle gold shimmer gives it a sexy finish, without being over the top on a daily basis.

The color is buildable, so you don’t need to fear to get too much product at ones on your cheeks. It works well as a highlighter too, in case you want to go with more expressive contouring that day.

I love the fact, that the blush itself is well pressed – because who wants to waste a dusty product?! And don’t even get me started on the packaging. It’s sleek and adorable. (The blush on the left picture only looks that new, because i’m showing you my back up! That’s how much i’m loving this product.)
The Balm Hot Mama Blush 6So even though i really enjoy wearing my Milani Rose Powder Blush in 08 Tea Rose from time to time, my go-to cheek beautifier to these days is Hot Mama. It retails for about $20.00 on Thebalm.com
Have you tried Hot Mama before? How did you like it?

So what did the others pick?
I asked Laura from Scotland what her favorite blush was:

I am always on the hunt for a pretty blusher. One of my favourites at the moment is from a fairly new brand – Makeup Revolution and it is called ‘The One’ Blush stick. It is a cream blush that can be used on your face or your lips but I think it gives your complexion a wonderful glow, definitely what we need in the winter months.
'The One' Blush stick

You can buy this at Makeuprevolutionstore or at your local Superdrug if you have one near you.
Superdrug online also stocks it.

If you have a pale complexion this colour – matte pink is definitely for you but there is a shade available for everyone. Oh and almost forgot to tell you it only costs – £5.00

Patricia from France told me:

My absolute favorite cheek product is actually a cheapy from H&M. Their blush in #15 bronze looks SO gorgeous on the cheeks. It’s buttery, pigmented, and long-lasting. If you use a light hand it looks gorgeous on pale skin, but you can definitely work the color up, and I think it would suit most light and medium skin tones.
HM blusher 2Because there’s a slight sheen to it (don’t worry, there’s no glitter), it’s a quick way to highlight, bronze, and blush your cheeks all in one swipe. Every time I wear I get compliments on how healthy my skin looks.
HM blusherThe best part? It only costs 4€ and you can find it at H&M. 🙂

When i asked Leslie from the United States about her favorite cheek product, she said:

I wanted to take the opportunity to chat a bit about two cream blushes I have been using a lot at the moment  and I love them, referring to the NYX Stick Blushes in the shades Tea Rose & Magnolia.
NYX Stick BlushesI purchased two of them just to try them out because I was a bit skeptical about cream blushes don’t really use them very often, I am so used to using powder blushes so I wanted to give these cream blushes a try. Honestly what really sold me was the packaging it’s so adorable.

I bought these two blushes at Ulta for $5.99 each pretty inexpensive if you’re on a budget this is a great buy. You can also buy them at CVS if you live in the US or directly on the NYX website. They are pretty creamy, soft and highly pigmented one swipe on each cheek is all that I need and then I blend it with a brush or a beauty blender.
NYX Stick Blushes swatchesThere is no smell to them, they are really long-lasting, and they make your cheeks look pretty natural. I personally think these would be great on any skin tone and skin type. So far it been a positive experience using these NYX stick blushes.

Tonie from the United States shared the information on her most favorite blush:

A little blush on my cheeks keeps me looking ‘awake’ throughout the day, even at the end when my feet are dragging. This makes my appreciation and love for a long-lasting blush that much greater.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush gives a flawless finish that lasts 12 hours! Another bonus is that it’s great for all skin types.

Amazonian Clay BlushAmazonian Clay benefits include reducing dryness and flakiness for those with dry skin and removing oil from the skin for oily complexions. With more than 15 shades, there is a perfect color match for everyone.
Amazonian Clay Blush 2My go-to shades are Frisky {a shimmery coral} and Flush {a pink berry}, which is perfect for creating the popular no-makeup look. Shop at TarteCosmetics.com and Sephora, $26.
