Holiday Card Swap

Hello my Beauties,

did i ever mention to you, that i simply love writing and receiving postcards? It has been a passion of mine for many years  now. And especially around the holiday season, i feel like searching for the most unusual, cute and special postcards for make my friends all around the world happy.

Since we live in a fast-moving and a very technological world, only few people seem to care about handwritten notes, letters and cards. I’m one of those dinosaur, that still cares for such things. And besides how poor would our days be, if the only things in our mail box were bills?!
Holiday Card Swap_This is why i teamed up with the lovely Dee from A Deecoded Life to hold a Holiday Card Swap event.

Everyone can take part and have fun with this. It doesn’t matter where on the planet Earth you live. Just imagine how lovely it would be, to get a card from the other half of the world, especially handwritten just for you?!

Here are the simple rules:

(a) Sign up with your details HERE. You can only do so until November 18.

(b) We assign you to a partner and email you his/her details. You get to know each other & then send a Christmas card (or any other holiday card if you prefer – that’s why we give you time to discover your partner) before December 6.

(c) You blog about the Christmas card you receive on a link up, which will be up on December 20, along with answers to the following questions:

1) What are your best memories about the Holidays?

2) Do you have any family traditions you like to follow over the Holiday Season?

3) What’s the worst Christmas gift you’ve ever got?

 4) What are your favourite holiday movies or books?

 5) If you could ask Santa for any material present for this Christmas, what would it be?

(d) You can also post pictures of your cards on social media with the hashtag #holidaycardswap.

So now, who’s up for the fun?
I actually met Dee through this type of event and look where we are now – hosting our own swap party! Let’s the swap party begin!
