Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera All in One Master

Hello my Beauties,

as you might have noticed, i’m currently on a korean skin care mission. I’ve discovered several interesting brands, that offer good quality lines and am curious to try several different products these days. The trick is to have a bunch of samples, that you can go through, before actually purchasing a full size product.

Sometimes the shop of your choice will provide you with some extra samples to go with your purchase, and in some others you get the chance to actually buy 10-20 mini samples of a cream or serum, that you’re interested in – which aren’t only great for when you’re traveling, but that way you will also get a chance to really get an impression of the product. This has been my tactic for many years now.

In my latest box from Beautynetkorea (my korean online shop of choice) , i’ve found 5 samples of the Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera All in One Master with Arugula and Ceramide as its main ingredients.
Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera All in One MasterFirst of all, let’s define what ceramide are and why we need it.

Ceramide are naturally found in the outer layer of our skin, that help to keep the needed moisture in. When the layer gets thinner with time, our skin starts looking more dehydrated and needs extra care. So basically those ceramides are a type of natural “glue”, that holds the skin cells together and makes us look younger and fresher.
Lack of ceramides can produce skin irritation and dryness. That’s when you have to use products, that help to replenish and repair your skin.

Here’s when i came across the Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera line, that offers anything from sheet masks, facial butter, ultra emulsion to ultra hand cream.
What ‘All-in-one Master‘ suppose to be, it a Hyper-moisturizing all in one essence, that has a 3-step transforming texture. It’s a gel, a toner & essence in one!

The original bottle comes in 50ml and a pump, which makes the use quite clean and easy.
Skin & good cera all in one masterIt’s a light gel texture, that makes it easy to spread over your face, absorbs quite fast and doesn’t leave a sticky residue – which is my personal no-go, when it comes to skin care. Just don’t make the mistake to put on too much of the product.

The brand is claiming, that the ‘All-in-one Master’ could easily replace any other moisturizer you might use, as it isn’t a ‘all in one’ product for nothing.

What surprised me a little, is that it had a slight cooling effect, while being applied – i assume it’s because of the gel texture and these often tend to have some cooling properties – and after a few minutes my face felt really smooth and even & ready for makeup application. I’d even go so far to say, it works well as a face primer, if you don’t have one handy.
Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera All in One Master As someone with rather sensitive and combination skin, i can tell you, that there was no allergic reaction to this product, and from my 2 weeks testing (one sample is enough for a 2-3 times usage), i had no breakouts, no unwanted tightening or ‘bad skin’ experience.

Who might like this products? From what i’ve seen, i would rather recommend it to people with oily and normal skin, as it does give enough moisture to your face, but wouldn’t be enough for dry skin, as it comes in a light gel texture.
Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera All in One Master 1After using All-in-one Master, i’m really curious about some other products from this line, as with the changing season, colder winds and rainy weather, my face could definitely use some extra ceramides.
On my list are currently the deep moisturizing Skin & Good Cera Super Cream with arugula and shea butter and the Steam Foaming Wash. It would be interesting to see, if those two go well together.

Holika Holika is being sold on Beautynetkorea for about $18 and many other korean sites, as well as on Amazon.

UPDATE September 2017: As the product seems to be sold out on Beautynetkorea at the moment, I’d suggest to look on Amazon for it.

Have you tried any Holika Holika skin care products before? Maybe even the Skin & Good Cera line?
What’s your experience with it?
