Outstanding October Favorites

Hello my Beauties,

can you believe it – it’s already November?!
Hope, that even if you weren’t celebrating Halloween last night, you’ve enjoyed your friday night activities.

It’s so fascinating to me, how fast October went by and that it’s time for another {Monthly Favorites} Edition.
In case you aren’t familiar with the way I do monthly favorites – i pick four of my most used beauty products from different categories that month – which become my four fabulous favorites and tell you all about them.
Sometimes it’s more skin care related and another month you see me raving about nail care items and new nail polish addition.

Without further ado, let’s talk {Outstanding October Favorites}

Outstanding October FavoritesHere are my top four that i reached for the month last month:

1) Milani Rose Powder Blush in 08 Tea Rose from the spring 2014 collection – is a gorgeous rose hued pink, which makes this blush incredibly wearable on a daily basis. It’s really pigmented and can be patchy, if not blended right (girls, use your fluffy blender brush for an even healthy flush on your cheeks).

For a fair skin girl like me, it’s a great almost matte shade, if you don’t feel like sparkle away that day.
Approximately 1/2 of the month i felt like going for the Snow White look and this was the perfect product to finish my look with it.

2) NYX Butter Gloss in 09 Vanilla Cream Pie is a sweet rose-pink gloss with a light vanilla scent and a bit thicker formula. It applies really smoothly on the lips and stays for about 2 hours, before you’d need to touch it up. In my opinion it’s one of those lip products, where you don’t even need to mirror for application, it’s that easy to use. Lately i’ve been actually more of a lipstick girl, but this butter gloss made me change my mind. I really like that glossy wet look on my lips.

3) Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Eau de Parfum (mini travel size .25 oz here) in the classic packaging of red and black is a really daring perfume. I usually need only one little spritzer, since it’s quite long-lasting, to be able to smell the vanilla and blackberry notes right away. I have to admit, that i usually grab the lighter scents, that feather away in about 2-3 hours, but this scent somehow captured me. And it’s in no way a subtle fragrance, that’s for sure.
I liked the combination of “Vanilla orchid, sun-drenched clementine, midnight blackberry.” It’s a fitting one for this time of the year.

4)  Yves Rocher Lash Plumping Mascara in hot punk tube is probably the only one (along with the Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal) that i’ve repurchased several times this year. I’ve always been a fan of those old-fashioned mascara brushes (simply couldn’t adjust to the plastic ones), that aren’t too big or small and look a little like a ‘tree’, if you know what i mean. The fluffy ones.

What i actually from my mascara, is to give my lashes volume without clumping or having those nasty fall off’s throughout the day and no to support my bigger pet peeve – the smudging on the upper eyelid.
Because of the comfortable brush, the mascara manages to separate and lengthen the lashes, as well as giving me the needed volume. My eyes don’t itch from using this product and it’s also quite easy to take it off at night. No need to extra rub your eyes or pulling on the lashes to get rid of the mascara.
I’m sure going to buy another one of these during my yearly december spread at Yves Rocher.
