{Snowflakes} Nail Art

Hello my Beauties,

by now you must know about my passion for nail polish and adorable nail art designs. Even though i don’t consider myself a nail art blogger at all, every now and then i like to try new things and get creative with it.

This time i got inspired by a Snowflakes blog post by Craftynail, who teamed up with eeeeknailpolish and brijitsdigits to bring us a NAIL Linkup for the month of december.
And because i liked the prompts so much, i’ve decided to jump in & participate. Who is surprised now?
dec-linkup-themesHere is my version of the {Snowflakes} nail art. Hope i managed to catch the right lighting.
Snowflakes Nail ArtThese are the polishes i used for the design:
nail polishes Step 1: Flormar Nail Care Max Growth as a base coat.

Step 2: Brijits Digits Faerie Fire in two coats as the base color.

Step 3: Using Essence’s tip painter to draw the lines of the snowflakes. Trying to create different kind of flakes. Letting everything dry.

Step 4: Using Flormar’s Icy Top on my ring finger for a snowfall effect and drawing a small snowflake on top of it.

Step 5: Formar Nail Care Quick Dry Extra Shine as a top coat.
Snowflakes nailsDon’t you think snowflakes are one of the most beautiful signs for the holidays and winter cheer?

I’m inviting you, my Beauties, to join the fun and paint your most favorite snowflakes on the nails. And if you do so – don’t forget to link up with the bloggers mentioned in the beginning of this post.

Thanks for the inspiration ladies.

Thank you Louisa. But in fact when you work with nail art brushes and dotting tools, it’s really not too hard. Please go ahead and try. I’d love to see what you might come up with. :)

Your snowflakes are seriously cute! And you are a patient lady :D I done snowflakes a few times before but it’s always hard for me since I take sooo long to actually draw them, I am really clumsy with nailpolish lines :D But I do remember enjoying especially white snowflakes on a dark shimmery blue background those were my best but also stained my nails o_0

There is a good solution with stamping these days, even though i seem to be very bad in that. And as i mentiooned before – thin nail art brushes do help a lot when creating a design like that.

Ooh, very pretty! I only managed to grow my nails this year… not at the stage of trying out nail art yet!

Hey Bevchen :) Thanks for stopping by.
As you can see, my nails aren’t long at all at the moment. So that’s not important to try some nail art, if you feel like getting creative. Pls let me know, when you do your first steps. Would love to see it.
