Sunday Read {Vol.4}

Hello my Beauties,

it’s another sunday and it’s time for our {Sunday Read},
where i share with you some really great posts, written by my fellow bloggers.
For today’s subject i picked a really popular topic on the blogosphere – [hand & nail care + manicure.]
sunday read by LuchessaAs i bought a few more nail polishes lately and also got a few new ones sent in the summer swaps, that i was attending,  i decided to pamper my nails a little more, to make them ready for all the different kind of polishes.
Probably that’s why the nail care & art related posts caught my eye this week.

My treasures this week:

1) When i first saw the cover picture of this post, i thought how incredibly adorable some packagings are and how much thoughts the companies are putting into the marketing.
Well, i guess many of you have already heard of the cute and feminine cosmetic brand Etude House, which was founded in 1995 in Korea. All the packaging from the paper bags to the actual product boxes are sweet & girly. However, the brand isn’t just about pinkish cute – the products are high quality and do really work (from what i read and heard so far).
The lovely Glamburger (how awesome is this blog name?!) wrote this review on Etude House Missing U I Can Fly Hand Creams, that are formulated with 6 types of organic ingredients (centella, aloe, lavender, lemon verbena, marshmallow root, and chamomile), and shea butter.
Of course this packaging is the very first thing you notice, but this eco-friendly hand cream seems to be really moisturizing your skin and since it doesn’t have parabens, sulfates, ethanols and mineral, i’m really interested in finding out more about these products.

2) This next article doesn’t need a big presentation, since it’s self-explanatory: 5 Easy Tips for Stronger Nails over at So Nailicious. It’s always good to be reminded what we can do in our daily life to get healthy and strong nails in no time. Personally i loved the fact, that moisturizing the cuticles was part of the tips, since i find that really important myself.

3) Cynthia from Of Life and Lacquer is one of my most favorite nail art and polish blogs. I have to admit, i do follow quite a few of them, but we all know there is a slight difference between nail polish lover (like myself) and bloggers who do all the professional presentation, swatches & reviews.
So this week Cynthia did a
Greens Smackdown since emerald is the {in} color this year and everyone has been looking for THE best green polish out there. We all love dupe posts and tips on texture and application. So if you’re a fan of different kind green shades, that’s a post for you!

4) Last but not least is another nail art blog, that i’m following for quite some time now and it’s All about Nails. Radi – the creative mind behind the blog always does beautiful designs and colors on her nails. But this time she reminded me not to forget my toes and that it’s important to keep them groomed and nicely painted as well.
Especially since it’s summer and we tend to wear open shoes. Don’t we?
Radi showed in her My sandy toes post, how adorable butterflies can be on the toes and i thought a sand style polish on my feet could be really a fun idea. Thanks for the tip, Radi!
