Sunday Read {Vol.5}

Hello my Beauties,

it’s sunday and we are going to have another {Sunday Read} session, where i share with you my best finds of the week.

To make it a little different this time, i decided to feature a theme that we all love – food.
Especially {desserts}. Let fall into the category: lifestyle.
Because to me – having some really great dessert in the house is living with style! 😉
sunday read by LuchessaLately i was in a baking mood. I mostly made simple cakes or little sweet tarts. I guess i was inspired by the many beautiful food blogs, that i’m also following.
Today i would like to present to you a few really great & inspiring posts. Give it a try, you might find something really delicious here.

My treasures this week:

1) Show me one person, that doesn’t like {chip walnut cookies!} (except those with the nut allergy) I mean seriously?
I’m a big cookie fan. So when i saw Felicia’s cookie recipe over at Love Life Eat, i knew this was something i would like to try. Take a look and tell me you want to taste one right away 😉

2) So if you have been following for some time now, you will sure know how much i love pancakes and crepe. I mean that is something i just have to have at least every 2 weeks, sometimes even often. Now that it’s summer, i like to invite my friends for brunch on the weekends and if the weather is nice to us, even sit outside on my balcony full of beautiful red geraniums.
Preparing some {funfetti crêpes}, as Foods for the Soul called this recipe, seems like a fun idea – not only for kids birthdays.

3) Do you like blueberries? I love them. They boost your brain, and may even prevent cancer, are full of antioxidants and are simply delicious. Have you even tried buttermilk crumpets before?
I found this great recipe over at The Paddington Foodie, that is called: {Blueberry and Buttermilk Crumpets.} I mean crumpets served with maple syrup and blueberries – what can be better on a rainy afternoon. Check out this recipe, i really liked it.

4) If you are somebody who enjoy having a relaxed tea afternoon on the weekends, you definitely need some kind of biscuits to go with it. Am i right? I found this nice and fun {White Chocolate-Dipped Biscotti} recipe with a little twist over at Prada for Breakfast. Even if biscotti are usually being sold during the winter time in Italy, there is nothing wrong in having a thing for the crunchy little things. Besides it’s only 6 month until Christmas…so… 😉

5) Last but most definitely not leat was this amazing {Black and White cake} that i discovered over at Sweet Fix. I have to admit, it was incredibly hard not to bite into my pc screen. You have some serious cake business there, with multiple layers, whipped cream and strawberry topping. ohhh my… have a careful glance at this deliciousness, you might gain a few pounds by simply looking at it.

One thing i know for sure, along with my sunday pampering & home spa, i’m going to make some pancakes for dessert!!
