Hey everyone (Beauty Expression’s readers) I’m Aqeela from Diary Of A Makeup Geek a UK based blogger and makeup artist. I mainly blog everything to do with makeup that could be tutorials, reviews and much more. Both me and Luchessa came up with an amazing idea to do a ‘guest post swap’.

With me being based in the UK I have picked my top 5 UK products because I am a makeup lover they are all makeup products 🙂 I believe all of them are available to order worldwide online.

1. Illamasqua ranks in my favourite makeup brands category possibly even the one I like the most! I love their ‘Skin Base’ foundation, I only ever need a small amount and the coverage is AMAZING! This lasts on my skin (I have combination – oily/dry skin) all day with touch up’s needed. Price £27/$42.

2. I am a sucker for highlighter! It is always best to use a highlighter in the texture of your base so because I don’t wear powder over my foundation often the next thing this would go on top of is cream foundation so it is best to use a cream highlighter. This is Illamaqua’s Gleam Aurora (yes another Illamasqua product) by far this is not only my best cream highlighter but my best cream product of all time, it contains no shimmer and gives a dewy finish. Price £18/$28
3. Yes another highlighter this is in a powder version and is unbelievably affordable! This brand is MUA if you haven’t heard of them they are very popular here in the UK and this product along with their ‘Heaven & Earth’ (dupe for Urban Decay) are both hyped a lot in the bloggersphere. It’s totally worth the price it gives off a pink pearlescent finish with no shimmer.
4. Next up is Sleek, I love this lip palette which was released with 5 others this year. This specific palette is ‘Tease’ and I have reviewed it *here* with the two others I own. It contains all the perfect reds and has 3 different textures, the best thing about this palette is the staying power on these lipsticks is by far the best and I’m saying that after trialing them against my MAC lipsticks. Price £8.99/£$14

5. Finally is Barry M’s ‘Gelly High-Shine’ nail varnish in Pomegranate, I love wearing this shade all year round, the seccret is within the name it has a very glossy finish and lasts an average amount of time just like the rest of Barry M nail varnishes. Price £3.99/$6
